Argentina's national team will have as their home base the training center of club Atlético Minieiro in Belo Horizonte (southeastern Brazil) during the 2014 World Cup, reported the local government and the AFA.
Argentina, who qualified first from South American, will train in the 'Cidade do Galo", a sports complex which has four football fields, swimming pools, medical and physiotherapy center and luxury rooms.
"The site will be exclusive to Argentina for 20 days before the start of the championship," from June 12, 2014, announced the Argentine Football Association (AFA) on its website.
The agreement was signed in Buenos Aires on Wednesday. Negotiations had started two months ago.
"We are delighted with the news that the Argentine Football Association has chosen to train in Belo Horizonte during the World Cup," said the mayor of Belo Horizonte, Marcio Lacerda.
The decision was made before the World Cup draw, on December 6, where each team will know where they will be playing.
"I lived in Belo Horizonte during the best time of my career," said Argentina coach Alejandro Sabel, who won the 2009 Copa Libertadores in the Mineirao stadium with Estudiantes, said the site Globo Esporte.
In the 'Cidade do Galo' was where Brazil trained in 2008 when they faced Argentina in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
