On Wednesday, November 12th begins the first phase of ticket sales for Chile’s 2015 Copa America, for the "Preferred Local Fan". This arrangement will allow fans to buy tickets for all matches played in each of the cities hosting the tournament regardless of which teams play at the stadiums. Thus, by purchasing the tickets in advance through this arrangement, it will allow the fans to attend all the games at that specific stadium.
Furthermore, in order to encourage football fans to enjoy fully this world-class event, the "Preferred Local Fan Tickets" will have a 20% discount in comparison to individual ticket sales. At this stage, 159,800 tickets will be available for the tournament.
"Chile’s Copa America will bring many of the top figures and teams on the planet, which transforms the tournament into a unique opportunity. So we made the effort to sell tickets at reasonable prices, to encourage people of different host cities to live this event in their region, "says Rene Rosas, CEO of Chile’s Copa America.
Considering various logistical and operational aspects, the number of games that will house each stadium is as follows: Nacional Stadium in Santiago, 6; Esther Rebolledo Roa de Concepcion Stadium, 3; Estadio Sausalito in Viña del Mar Stadium, 3; German Becker Stadium in Temuco, 3; La Portada de La Serena Stadium, 3; Elías Figueroa Stadium in Valparaiso, 2; Regional Calvo y Bascunan Stadium in Antofagasta, 2; El Teniente Stadium in Rancagua, 2; and Monumental Stadium in Santiago, 2.
This stage of the tickets sale will run through Sunday, November 23rd and will be exclusively online through the site www.ca2015.com. Each person can buy a maximum of four tickets, and you can pay with credit cards, debit cards and other payment media partners. Those with Santander MasterCard card can access the exclusive presale, which will last for the first 48 hours or until all the stock intended for preorder is exhausted. After that, the start of the sale to the general public will begin and will also have a 20% discount.
